5/30/14. Buddy. After feeding him for a month or so he finally trusts me enough to let me pet him. Buddy has lived behind my apartment complex since winter. Hopefully this Monday I will be taking him for shots and to get neutered.
There is no news on cable television (or network televsion). All that I see on cable news channels is the general essence of current events being conveyed through the prism of the the political leanings of pundits who have replaced reporters.
5/26/14. Buddy the Cat. Buddy has lived behind my apartment complex since early last winter. He’s feral. I didn’t know he’s been there so long until someone told me a month ago. I thought he was a stray that wandered in once in awhile. I began feeding him daily a month or so ago. Someone loaned me a pet carrier. I am now going to put his food and water in the carrier and when he’s comfortable being in it I am going to take him and get him neutered and get worm shots. Every day he gets closer and closer to me. If I move away he will follow me and lay down a few feet away and roll around on the ground. There’s a female feral around and I really don’t want there to be a feline explosion. Wish me luck.

Working at a vacation destination I always know that summer is near when men start revealing their pasty white legs by wearing jorts or some other ridiculous type of short pants. Generally speaking I try to never look at men but for goodness sake get some color on those hairy white sticks before you unleash them on the world. If you can’t afford to go tanning get a good disposable lighter and run it up and down your calves a few hundred times. Thank you.
Some artist trading cards still in progress. They’re each 2 1/2” x 3 1/2” and done with a Sharpie and colored pencils. I hope I can finish them by Monday or Tuesday. I volunteered to paint something on a 36” x 48” piece of plywood for a carnival at work and have to get it done this weekend so my time and mind has been on getting that done. These little atc’s are very fun to work on and the ones of the kids with the kittens and girl with the bunny mean a lot to me. For some reason doing these little cards are very satisfying to me.
