5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ sketchbok pages, ballpoint pen. More pointless fodder for the all-important King Internet.
I copied these from photos I saved to my phone. I sketch them in pencil to the point I feel confident enough to ink them then delete the photos so I don’t get caught up in trying to recreate a photo exactly which takes all the fun out of drawing. I do not want to compare the finished piece to the photo.
Sketchbook drawings I did mostly at work almost two weeks ago. All creatures are beautiful in their own way. Don’t step on or crush insects. Scoop them up and put them into a safer spot!
My dad just sent me these scans of his artwork from the late 1950’s – 1960’s. I never saw them before. His name is Laszlo Francz and his mom and dad brought him and his brother and sister from Hungary to America in 1956. I posted these and more in an album on www.chrisfrancz.com. I am very proud to show off my dad’s artwork which neither I, nor more than a few people has ever seen.

More time-wasters. Each is 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”.
