There’s no lid on the dumpster at my apartment complex so each week until the dumpster gets full I go out after dark and place a long log into it so the raccoons that get in can climb out. I think the raccoons jump in from a nearby tree. I’ve been doing this for many years and often panic when I think about what will happen when I no longer live here. I took this photo tonight around 11:15.
